Double and Megson is an accredited member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS). The Conveyancing Quality Scheme is the recognised quality mark for legal experts in buying and selling property, trusted by some of the UK’s biggest mortgage lenders. All Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme firms go through rigorous examination and testing to demonstrate that they have a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice.
In 2011-2012 the Conveyancing Quality Scheme was officially recognised by the Legal Ombudsman, Association of British Insurers (ABI), Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) and the Building Societies Association (BSA).
We have specialist Family Solicitors who are members of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel, which only accepts Solicitors with a proven track record in family work.
Members have to show, to the satisfaction of the Law Society, that they have and will maintain a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice in the area of family law.
